What happens at your first visit?

Initial Assessment:

Before commencing your treatment at Body Performance Physiotherapy, it is essential that you attend an Initial Assessment so that we discuss the best course of treatment. This will involve your therapist taking a thorough history of your problem, listening to your concerns, and then performing a physical examination. This detailed process usually lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour and will allow your therapist to reach an accurate diagnosis. This allows us to provide an effective treatment program, and allows you to achieve your rehabilitation goals with a quick recovery. You may need to attend several sessions for further treatments, however; as a general rule we aim to have you feeling better within 1 to 6 sessions.

Do I need a referral?

Physiotherapists are autonomous practitioners therefore you do not need a referral to see us, however, please feel free to bring any GP Letters or Medical Results you may have with you.
